Electric Vehicles Association of Chile

The Electric Vehicles Association of Chile A.G., or AVEC AG, is a Chilean association whose objective is to significantly contribute to and promote the transition towards a more sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation system.

It brings together various stakeholders in the electromobility field, including individuals, manufacturers, distributors, technology and service providers, as well as government entities and organizations interested in the sustainable development of mobility.

Our activities:

  • Represent the interests of its members before public and private entities directly or indirectly related to electromobility.
  • Promote research, development, dissemination, and widespread adoption of electric vehicles in Chile.
  • Advocate for and spread awareness about the social and environmental benefits associated with the use of electric vehicles.
  • Encourage Chilean legislation and public policies to focus on fostering research, development, dissemination, and widespread adoption of electric vehicles in Chile.
  • Promote collaboration with similar national and international institutions whose objectives align with these principles, fostering the adoption of electric vehicles.
  • Promote, organize, sponsor, and collaborate in events related to the activities of its members.

Annual activities:

  • Participation in the public-private agreement promoting electric mobility by the Government of Chile.
  • Quarterly training sessions for individuals and companies.
  • Participation in mobility fairs and exhibitions in Chile, Spain, Norway, and other countries.
  • Multi-sectoral working groups on electric mobility insurance, curriculum development for technical and professional staff, advisory roles in legislative committees in Chile, and regulatory consultations for Latin American countries.
